The last leg of the journey is upon us and although we didn't have a concrete itinerary planned out, we managed to get through a lot for the day. From viewing the city from above in Mount Royal to exploring Old Montreal, we passed through several landmarks. And we definitely didn't skip out on food either!
And we're back at it again! Another day, another adventure. Weather has been hot and humidity in Montreal was no joke, but we were out the door around 10AM to head out to Mile End for some bagel tasting and shopping.
Second day into Montreal and luck was on our side for this trip. Sunday was free museum day for select exhibits, so we spent the whole day hitting up a few locations. After breakfast, we set foot toward Musee des Beaux Arts de Montreal, where we ended up spending half our day exploring.
From San Diego to Detroit to Montreal, we touched down in Canada about 8-9 hours later. From the airport, we hopped on a bus and went through the subway system to reach Jean-Talon, where we checked into our Airbnb for the next 5 days. As with all new adventures, the exploration begins.
With half a day left in Boston, we had a few places on our hit list before we headed to the airport. We woke up to another day of snowy forecast, but that didn't stop us from making the most of our time here. Last day in Boston, but there's still plenty of things to do and see.
Boston Day 2! From shopping the public market to visiting the Institute of Contemporary Art on the waterfront to feasting on the greatness of North End's eat, our day trip was filled with plenty of sights as we braved the cold and snow throughout Boston.
As the sun began to set on my first day in Boston, my friends and I headed out to Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant located in South End for a dinner reservation. We headed there on foot and arrived at a bustling restaurant packed with patrons. Reservations are an absolute must and here's why!
My weekend trip to Boston began with a red eye flight out of John Wayne, where I had a short layover in San Francisco before I arrived into Boston. I spent most of my time on the plane sleeping so that when I arrived, I would be ready to hit the ground running. See what I conquered on my first day!
My departing flight was later in the evening, so this is my final post on Seattle! With most of our valuables packed away, my friend and I set foot toward Pike Place Market for last minutes grabs. One being Piroshky Piroshky to take home and breakfast at The Crumpet Shop.
From Pike Place to Belltown, we walked our way over to List for their All Day Happy Hour specials. Happy Hour at List meant that everything on 'The Food List' was 50% off, so we discussed our selections to share and even had room for more food next door. Turnt up on a Monday!
